Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson has been selected to lead one of the four teams in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game.

Brian Windhorst, an NBA insider for ESPN, recently appeared on ESPN Cleveland and discussed the Cavaliers' season to date. One interesting note Windhorst mentioned is that agents have told him that other players want to play in Cleveland. This has two sides: the financial implications and the Cavalier's level of play so far this year.

By virtue of clinching the best record in the East, Atkinson has earned a spot as a head coach in the NBA All-Star Game.

It's Mitchell's sixth straight All-Star appearance and second career starting nod, both of which have come with the Cavs.

The starters have been announced for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place on Feb. 16 at Chase Center in San Francisco. The reserve players will now be selected by NBA head coaches. Each conference will have seven reserves consisting of two backcourt players, three frontcourt players and two wild-card players of any position.

The Cavs lost three consecutive games for the first time this season. But they feel going through this adversity is a positive.
