Former Post correspondent Glenn Frankel attended the 2002 ceremony in Norway at which Jimmy Carter was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Mr Macron said the meeting was a great opportunity to discuss EU-UK relations and ‘the main crisis’ in Ukraine.
